It is amazing to see God's Hand at work at Champion Forest Baptist Church! He has worked in and through this body of believers to build His kingdom for more than 35 years, and it is exciting to see that He has so much more He wants to accomplish through us in the years that lie ahead. We truly have the opportunity to touch lives for His glory, from right here in Houston to the ends of the earth, and we are so blessed that He has entrusted us with the resources to accomplish His plans for our church. It is very exciting to see that God equips us for His calling.

By now, you have started to gain an appreciation for just how bountifully God has provided for His work at Champion Forest. We have already been blessed with $15 million to invest in His work, either on hand now or built into the church's budget over the next three years. The remaining $25 million to construct the facilities proposed by the building committee, needs to come from either our giving to the IMPACT capital campaign or from project financing.
It is common for a church of our size to pledge $25 million over a three-year capital campaign. Every dollar of debt that we avoid taking on, by giving generously through IMPACT, frees up more resources that we can invest in touching lives for Christ. This project is financially sound and conservative from an analytical standpoint, but the most exciting part of the plan is that the return for God's Kingdom is incalculably high!
What would the eternal significance be if we could increase the number of lives we reach on a weekly basis by 100 or 200? It is staggering to consider the opportunity before us as we consider the work God can and will do through these lives and the lives of others they touch. By providing facilities and resources that will enable Champion Forest Baptist Church to grow in every age group across a broad range of ministries, this project enables us to touch as many as 4,000 more people each week with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Imagine the Impact for the Lord starting right here in Houston - people who will learn of and trust Jesus as their Savior who might not otherwise be reached, people who will know the precious Word of God and live it out more effectively on a daily basis, people who will be trained and developed to disciple and serve the Lord both near and far. In addition, think of the joy of being a part of a church fellowship that is on such a mission for God's glory. We want to be on that team along with each of you (and those that are yet to come).
